turtle turtle....

So awhile back I did a UT photo spree across campus and next to the turtle pond there were a bunch of turtle just laying out and relaxing... Kinda makes you want to relax as well...

Freezing water...

Water droplets. Pretty crystal looking beads of yumminess :P Take a look! :) Also changed my watermark to look prettier :P

Can't wait for my new lens being able to zoom is going to be so great! WOOO!!

I really love macro shots, very sharp and fine and from a nice angle you can create some interesting effects.

So I haven't eaten yet.. but... here is something to chew on... good ol' FRIED POP TART! Unfortunately it was freaking sweet cause it had this like cherry glaze on top of it. Nonetheless, we tried to read the maximum fried experience at the Houston Rodeo.... Oh so fat.... lol

Music Mood...

Been in a fairly interesting music mood today! Too bad my piano that I can play on without disturbing people is in Austin. :( Tomorrow I'm headed back, if there are any places to stop and take pictures I'll post 'em! :) Anyways, as inspiration... an old pic! In case you are wondering the headphones are Sennheiser HD 202's and the piano is a Williams Encore 88-key weighted digital piano.

So this particular picture is one that I took at the beginning of spring break when I first got my 50mm lens. The cat? His name is Mao. He pretty much lives on my front yard and interacts when he feels like it. He's a cute cat very gorgeous color. This day he decided, "I'm gonna sleep here..." :)

First Post!

So I have been meaning to start this little book of my photos as I get used to and better at taking them.

So information about me, I am a EE student attending the University of Texas at Austin. I got my DSLR (Canon Rebel XSi) back in December '09 and have taken about 5000+ shots with it so far. Really am just a beginner at the whole photography scene but it is fun and taking photos with my DSLR has made it all the more worthwhile.

What do I plan to do on this blog? Well I just want to share my experiences with everyone! Perhaps anyone who is interested in photography can see from my blog that well we all started from somewhere.
